The first thing you need to do is download the application from the following link:<\/p>\n\n\n\nhttps:\/\/code.visualstudio.com\/download<\/a>\n\n\n\n

After you install the app by dragging it into the Applications folder, open it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now navigate to this link to install the Settings Sync extension https:\/\/marketplace.visualstudio.com\/items?itemName=Shan.code-settings-sync<\/a>  and click the Install button<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you install the extension you will need to click the Reload to Activate<\/strong> button<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the app reloads follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Use keyboard shortcut Cmd + Shift + P <\/strong>to open the command palette<\/li>
  2. Type Sync<\/strong> and go down with the arrow keys to the Sync: Advanced Options<\/strong> and click Enter<\/strong><\/li>
  3. Use arrow keys to go down to Sync: Download Settings from Public GIST <\/strong>and click Enter<\/strong><\/li>
  4. Use keyboard shortcut Cmd + Shift + P<\/strong> to open the command palette again<\/li>
  5. Type Sync:<\/strong> and go down to Sync: Download Settings <\/strong>then click Enter<\/strong><\/li>
  6. It should ask you to enter a GIST ID enter the following 846a59831c3a903c311ea25354694cae<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    It will take a few minutes for all the Extensions to load, once they are done it will ask you to reload. Reload and you are done!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Already followed this guide and just need to update:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Type Cmd + Shift + P<\/strong> and type “Download<\/strong>” find\/select “Sync: Download Settings<\/strong>“<\/li>
    2. A popup will ask you to reload click Yes<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Suggested extensions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
